Did you know that being in the sun (or even being outside on a cloudy day) increases our serotonin levels which helps calm and boosts our happiness? Plus, being in the sunshine assists with our circadian rhythm which in turn aides with sleep. And a good night's sleep has it's own positive benefits on our mood!
Science shows that deep breathing affects the heart, brain and digestive system. Deep breathing removes carbon dioxide and increases our oxygen levels.
Calms and Relaxes.
Research has found that the scent of pine trees decreases stress and increases relaxation. So instead of spending money on an essential oil, why not go outside and breathe it in!
So take a break, go outside, and BREATHE!
